  • Prior to 1977, Percy Edgar of Demdyke Row was the Beckindale correspondent for the paper.
  • After Percy Edgar's death, w:c:emmerdale:w:c:emmerdale:Amos Brearly took over as Beckindale correspondent for the paper. This included writing an obituary for w:c:emmerdale:w:c:emmerdale:Jim Gimbel (episode 367, 28th June 1977)
  • According to Amos, Editorial departments and Advertising department are not on the same floor (episode 1412).
  • For advertising, there is someone called Liza (episode 1412).
  • In 2016, the paper costs eighty pence (episode 7424).
