Harry's land.

Harry Mowlam's Land was farmland owned by nasty quarry owner w:c:emmerdale:Harry Mowlam. When Harry was killed in January 1986, the Sugdens at Emmerdale Farm bought his land.

1986

Quarry owner Harry Mowlam bought the land in Beckindale in 1985. Harry Mowlam made no end of enemies, and was murdered in January 1986. After a fight with rival w:c:emmerdale:Matt Skilbeck, Matt was a strong suspect. Matt even thought he may have killed him as he had a blackout after the fight. Also, when it was announced that Mowlam's land would be bought by Emmerdale, the blame lay more at Matt's door. But Mowlam's body was found 20 yards away from where Matt last saw him alive. And the real killer, w:c:emmerdale:Derek Warner, who was once Mowlam's partner in crime, admitted he killed Mowlam by beating him to death during a heated row.

Matt was cleared of murder and the land became part of Emmerdale Farm land in March 1986.

Now under Emmerdale ownership, the land is cultivated.
