Synopsis[]
w:c:emmerdale:Hunter Bell is aghast to find that he is only 67 years old and is too
young to join the Over 70s Beckstone Thrash. w:c:emmerdale:Amos Brearly tells w:c:emmerdale:Henry Wilks that being born on the parish boundary can lead to problems. Hunter mulls over the situation over a pint in the Woolpack. w:c:emmerdale:Sam Pearson says if he was just a month or 2 off 70 then he may overlook it but he says Hunter looks 70 so thought he may get away with it. Sam thinks that Hunter secretly knew his age but was trying to get away with it. The w:c:emmerdale:Beckindale residents are preparing for the Harvest Supper at the village hall. At the Supper the band play A Bicycle For Two. w:c:emmerdale:Jim Gimbel is in a good mood and enjoying the party but his mood soon turns sour when he is upset to see his married daughter Kathy Davis dancing with w:c:emmerdale:James Bonfils, which is spreading gossip. Jim then almost lays into w:c:emmerdale:Matt Skilbeck after seeing him dance with his wife w:c:emmerdale:Freda Gimbel. Amos and Hunter Bell join the commotion later on. w:c:emmerdale:Annie Sugden sees Kathy wearing the bracelet that Joe told her was Christine's. Annie knows Joe has been seeing Kathy secretly. She has a word in Joe's shell like to tell him she knows he was lying about who the bracelet belongs to. An angry Jim tells Freda, Kathy and Davey that they are leaving the Supper.
