Synopsis[]
w:c:emmerdale:Nick Bates is sleeping off his hangover and planning his revenge on Kim Tate. w:c:emmerdale:Jan Glover tells w:c:emmerdale:Ned Glover that they should invite the Dingles round one night for dinner. Ned agrees as long as it is when they have got the house straight - in a couple of years or so. w:c:emmerdale:Biff Fowler and w:c:emmerdale:Seth Armstrong say they will miss Nick at work. Kathy has a go at Nick and wishes she never confided in him about Dave and Kim's affair. Nick later phones Kim and demands some money. Later that day, Nick confronts Kim while she is riding her horse, saying she has ruined w:c:emmerdale:Frank Tate's life and blames her for his unemployment. He demands money so that he can support Alice. She threatens that she will go to the authorities & have Alice taken away from him and this enrages Nick who lunges at Kim & the horse. He falls to the floor & Kim takes the opportunity to stamp the horses's hooves on his head before riding off & leaving him unconscious, alone in the field. He is not found until night time. That night, while Dave and Biff are rounding up the horses, they find Nick unconscious in the field. Dave then finds Nick unconscious in the field. Biff goes off to call an ambulance. Kim covers her tracks by accusing Nick of releasing her horses & tells Dave that she thinks Nick got what he deserved.
